Growing up on a farm didn’t stop her dreams of someday carving her niche in the beauty industry. Christi has stayed true to her skin theory, never changing her skin care treatment since it was initially formulated in 1973; and she has continued to develop products that give immediate results and don’t wind up in the drawer unused. “I know my philosophy is different, but my clients thank me every day for making products that actually work and don’t break their pocket book. I know when I was growing up, I would have appreciated this philosophy”, says Christi. In 1995 Christi launched the first Christi Harris Flagship Center in the prestigious Galleria Dallas …the premier fashion center that is said to be Dallas ’ number one tourist attraction. In a 40-foot storefront, sandwiched between Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom, Christi has turned basic beauty into greater beauty for literally thousands of women. Basic beauty queens, captains of industry, moms and teens, not to mention an array of celebrities, have benefited from Christi’s unique instruction. From the $60 Spirited Girl to the $85 Modern Woman experience all 1 ½ hour makeup lessons include a lifetime of follow up instruction. Women across America who come to Dallas to experience Christi’s famous educational lessons have said the Modern Woman lesson makes them appear 5-6 years younger. In 2005, Nordstrom began offering the Christi Harris line in select stores to include skin, body, hair treatment and anti-aging collections. Nordstrom customers also enjoy her unique Beauty Buddies Boot Camps and Spa Days designed specifically for them. These selected instructional events have fueled great success due to the perfect pairing of unsurpassed client service for which both Christi Harris and Nordstrom have become known. A passion for meeting women’s needs keeps Christi on top of her game, developing new ideas to satisfy the ever-growing beauty industry. Christi designed the Brow Planing tool, brushes and brow products that are revolutionizing the way women shape and maintain the perfect brows. No tweezing, waxing, threading or pain, Christi’s Precision Brow Planing has taken the country by storm. “The brows frame the face, like a frame on a portrait. Well groomed brows are a necessity for both men and women,” says Christi. She has developed goof-proof tools that assure women they can do their own brows at home and not depend on someone who may destroy their brow hair forever. Christi says, “If young girls would begin this process at an early age rather than tweezing they would wind up with a full brow in their 50’s.” It is so easy to grab two or three brow hairs at a time, create a gap and continue to tweeze to even the gap out.
